I have a chance to run down to South Carolina to pick up a High Tide Bug Buster for a decent price. I was curious if anyone has heard of or knows anything about these boats? I did a little research and they seem like nice little boats. With that being said, it kind of reminds me of a Roy boat and I would be looking to get some flapper boards made for it in the future (If I go through with the purchase).

I lived in SC for a bit and everyone and their mother had a high tide down there. They have a great reputation and I hunted from a few. With a well thought out blind (let me know if you want some input and what I’ve seen work and not work) on it I think it could be quite effective up here.  What area of the state is it in? Grand Strand?

It does look like it has a lot of potential. I was thinking about some side and a front flapper board for a blind. It is located in Summerville, hoping the guy says yes to maybe meeting half way cause it's a long drive

Neat boat, not close to a Roy but would be fun to run around NJ.  Looks like lots of room!

Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.

While not "exactly" like a Roy boat, I feel it is Roy boatesque...I had a low boat and seeing this it has the potential to be a good little rig.
