Getting myself some big tuna setups this winter after getting destroyed on my 14k this fall, just ordered a 18000 Stella for my popping/stickbait setup, debate is do get a 20000 for jigging I know a lot of people aren’t a fan of them and use 18000 for both applications

Gear ratio is better in the 18000....many buy 18000 & put aftermarket 20000 size spool. 

Conventional is better for jigging IMO....

Recommend any good left handed reels, I love the ocea jigger 4000 but just can’t do righty

I buy most of my reels in Europe...far cheaper.

Highly recommend putting cortland  c16 on your reels. Best braid in my opinion...

With the c16 can you fg knot it or do you have to splice

Splice an end loop & connect everything loop to loop.

Learn to tie a PR .

after you do a few they get easier each time
