Wow!  There are some real douche bags out there!!

On the way to work to uphold the Forces of Good w the security gig…I stopped at Wawa for gas and a bagel sammich….only 3 pumps were open and were jammed…and lines forming behind cars at pumps…so no gas for me but I ran in for the sammich….but I took notice of a white Lexus SUV at the pump w no gas hose attached to vehicle. As I near the front door I encountered a smug faced hooded white middle aged male about to light a cigarette and holding a cup of coffee …no exchange of good morning pleasantries like I usually do cuz I had “a feeling” bout this guy. So I went in grabbed my sammich, mentioned to the cashier there’s a white Lexus jamming up the pumps n he said there’s nothing they can do, & I walk out the store. I go over to douchie’s car, notice a PBA sticker by inspection sticker(should have took a pic of it), and ask the gas attendant who’s car it is…said he didn’t know as he’s running around like trying to do his job in sub freezing temperatures. As I walk back to my truck I see the JO who was smoking n drinking his coffee who I saw earlier eyeing me down and walking to the douche car….i stared at him as he got his gas receipt n got in the car. This F’er stood the whole time n smoked his cigarette n drank his coffee while people were driving around and jockeying position at the pumps n waiting in line …as they tried to get to work during an icy morning Fridays commute!!  No words for this type of scumbaggery and I should have “had a conversation w him” bout how inconsiderate he was.

It could be worse. I pulled up to the diesel pump last summer at Quik Chek and the attendant got me started right away. Car next to me was filling up with no one in it. 30 seconds later, the woman comes out, on the phone, gets in the car, and drives away with the pump hose and nozzle. Gas spraying everywhere. I jumped out and hit the EStop and shut everything down. She made it to the exit before another guy flagged her down. She comes back screaming at the attendant and myself. I calmly told her that life was still going on while she was on the phone and to enjoy paying for the damage she had done.

Yup. Years ago I probably would. Past few years of seeing this kind of increasing poor societal behavior, I have checked out and tend to mind my own business nowadays. Hope he got the point even without having the conversation. I will be at that Wawa at the same time in future and will have my Spidy senses up for that JO.

I used to have no patience for azz wipes like that 'and would be ready to go at the drop of a hat, as I've gotten older, to fat, to slow and don't want to deal with going to court, I just roll with it and move on, plus if you're going to push it, you have to be ready for the worst, don't know who's carrying what

It's a common behavior in States like VA. You pump your own gas. Many people start pumping and go inside to buy stuff. There usually is enough pumps so there is no backup. If you are getting gas pumped by an attendant, you should be forced to stay with the car. If you want goodies, move over to a parking space. :nonono:

staying with your car would be too simple, people don't care nowadays and never did, I drove a truck all over the country in the 1970s, you would be waiting in line for fuel at a fuel island, trucks lined up, nothing moving, first truck nobody in it, guy is in the truck stop eating or taking a shower

Yup. Stay with your car til you are done with the pumps…. Especially if there’s only a few pumps working and it’s busy. Guess a law or ordinance is needed for people who have no consideration for others.

Same thing happened a few years ago …but it was at 0430 AM and I was headed to a bass tournament and hauling my boat. Guy went inside and blocked the pumps…I gave him a piece of my mind on that one!!

another guy did it to me last summer in Pennsy while at kids lacrosse tournament….he finally came out of the store and I sat there flailing my hands at him!!  SMH

Anything you would’ve said to him would’ve been wasted breath and energy. And could open the door to physical alterations with how fragile people’s egos are nowadays. Even if you came at him with the most sincere “Hey buddy that’s wrong you shouldn’t be doing that because xyz.” chances are he’ll pretend to listen and yea yea yea you or it’ll escalate. Just let it go brother be safe.

I tend to mind my own business , ain’t gonna fix the world and probably end up with law suit. I have to much to loose and policing a society that’s ready to implode  isn’t my job . You just can’t fix stupid . Avoidance is my new tactic😉
