Heading out around 1 to sit in z16 with the shotgun.  Looking for a mature buck so its a long shot.  My buddy wants some meat & Had multiple does 20-30 yds last night & crosshairs on 2 but just couldn't pull the trigger.  Didn't want to risk spooking if a buck was nearby

Just baited and moved cell camera around see if I can get one more deer for sausage.  The one I shot the other day is frozen solid in the shed.

Good luck to all !  Took meat to PA butcher this morning.  Checked camera and still have nothing but shed bucks and a small 6pt.  Waiting for some snow to go scouting again for another spot.

Was out tonight , with a slug gun that I inherited few years back , and I will take it out late season when I’m going to have that rare , easy sit . I’ve yet to kill a deer with it . I’ve had this bully of a doe that’s been a massive pain in my butt all year , running deer off , trampling deer , blowing for no reason . Tonight I ended her terror . She was one of a giant herd and when she trampled a small button buck I had enough . Hammered her at 65 yards and she died 20 feet from me .
