Another Snack Stick Thread..

Made a batch of Habanero Cheddar. Used PS Seasoning brand. Came out delicious. Not as spicy as I expected but still excellent. Also used high temp cheddar cheese.  Even had a couple visitors during the smoke.. Little did they know what that smell was 😬

How much hotter was the habanero than the jalapeño mixes ? As pepper wise it’s significant.

 

waltons mixes habanero with barbecue , thinking to lessen the heat 

 

waltons sells 32 varieties of stick seasonings .

hoping to try about half of them in next few years

Thanks! The habanero was only SLIGHTLY hotter. I honestly expected it to way hotter then what it was. It was mild enough for my 2 year old to try. I've been looking at all the different Waltons, they have some very impressive sounding mixes. Definitely going to try Waltons seasoning next batch.

Just a heads up , everything I have tried has been pretty good .

But we won’t buy cheese from there . They send it in a soft mail priority envelope (they say to lower shipping costs )

cheese looks like it went through a grinder the last 3 times .

Had discussion with them that at the price of the cheese , I would think more people would rather a good product than save money to throw half if it away as dust ..…
