Well I quess I am the only one out. Finally made it out. With warm Temps had to get a big block of ice off one blind so I decided to sit the spot with the climbing stand right next to me have had a few doe hear see how it goes.

Out in Z13. Small 6 came by, passed. Just glad to see one.

I saw an Opposum in the middle of a field in Harmony Twp a few hours ago.

So a guys driving a truck down an active railroad, train just passed by 2 hours ago and does so frequently, sees me in the tree (bright orange can’t miss it) 300 yards away, gets out, tells his two young kids to get out and they start throwing rocks into the river and making whole buncha noise for 5 minutes. Thanks a lot guy. I don’t need any help not seeing deer especially this 2024-25 season lol. Have had no luck and not for lack of trying. Pretty sure it’s the same fella drove up to me on a 4 wheeler again on the train track as I’m heading to my spot going on about how he has a feeder on his private 40 acres like a half a mile away so he’s all pissed off that I setup in some nasty swamps on PUBLIC and WAAAY within my right to do so to cut them off on their way to his feeder. Sorry guy but if you’re going to feed deer, it’s going to affect the way the deer move and I’m going to setup in a way LEGALLY that I can harvest them. I don’t have access to private land. This public cesspool is all I got. Needless to say I swallowed my pride and walked away because it was opening day of 6 day, we were both armed plus again he had small children with him and it’s not worth it for a deer. Now I’m on the opposite side of this public piece and still getting harassed.

Had to stop writing because a doe came in anyway and it’s down 20 yards away. Was about to go blank for the first year since I started 13 years ago lol. God is good

Apparently they sleep 18 hrs a day!

Congrats on the doe!  Film the guy next time.  That's what i'm going to do.  Had a run in like that this year, too, and once before.  Private property owner, big bucks, thinking nobody should be hunting public land anywhere near his place.  Glad you scored after that.

I did, got the company logo off the truck. If my stuff starts going missing or vehicle gets tampered with I’ll send it to the proper authorities. Sucks people can be so entitled to land we all share. Knock on wood I’ve never been bothered by anti hunter  it’s always other hunters.

I had a similar situation last year.  The neighbor posted Safety Zone signs on the public property I hunt even though the closest building was  1/4 mile away.  He then decided that he would solve his problem by stealing my stand.  He was so sure that I would back off that he had the brass to call me and tell me to pick up my stand in his barn.  I called the CO and told him of the hunter harassment and theft.  The CO went to the guys house, had a chat, gave him an official written warning and retrieved my stand.  Problem solved.  No signs and no harassment.  Do yourself a favor and call the CO.  They take hunter harassment seriously.

Hit a small shed buck went no right down . Long drag out then skinned and took back straps and loin out rest will sit .
