I want to start using an o/u for ducks. This wont be my primary but i think it would be fun to mix in once and a while.

Looking for either a composite o/a that is functionally 100% in working order. Or a wood o/u that's cosmetically blemished.

I dont care about the look of the gun, jut want something on the cheap side that's going to work. Let me know what you got!

does chamber length matter?  2 3/4" okay?

And where are you located?

Or you could just buy a TriStar for under $600

I wouldn't want to use it for anything high volume but to shoot ducks a few times a year it should be fine

I just wanta play everyday despite small nagging injuries --

’ve always thought to myself if I was a duck hunter I would want a Ruger all weather red label. I’d give up one extra shot for a stainless steel duck gun

Isn't a Red Label an over under? A beautiful, solid, unbreakable, reliable over under? (I've always wanted one too)

Yes and I’ve owned a few over the years. . But they made an all weather one with composite stock and stainless barrel. If I remember correctly they stopped producing of the red label due to production cost which makes no sense to me the 20”s and 28”s are very desirable and a pleasure to carry

Tristan and ruger red label your joking you can’t compare the two. Tristar Is like carrying a 2x4 through the woods and even in 410 it’s not on a baby frame so why would someone even want one

Smitty. I still have that 20ga red label i bought from you 25yrs ago.

I was replying to sudsy suggestion of getting a Tristar under 600 but he said he wouldn't shoot volume through it but my 410 is on a babt frame but it is a pump.  I wasn't telling op to get a Tristar.  I would say if he dosnt find somthing used get a cz
