Steel is going up. Being raised in Sayreville in the 70s and 80s, the development of the old National Lead property is long overdue. I just hope the bureaucrats don't line their pockets instead of lowering property taxes for the citizens.

This has been going on for what seems like 20 years already!!!!  Hopefully it doesn't kill any of the local tackle shops that provide the personalized service.

Glad to see it finally happening. Wish it happened when I still kept my boat down there. Was always looking forward to docking the boat there to head inside.

Core work will start end of Feb I heard at our last union meeting. I think the store will do well there given its location.

A lot of earth work ...

Steel seemed to go up pretty fast , and then seemed like it slowed to a halt just as quickly .

its supposed to be the biggest Bass Pro in the country .

with its location it should do well if stocked correctly

I don’t think so I’m sure that some of the best engineers in the country are involved and like I said they’ve been taking dirt in and out of that site for over 20 years.

They drove pilings and added grade beams over the last 7+ years to eliminate any settling. We shall see.
