Drones

Who's got em? Do you use them for scouting, fun, photography, work? Never used or owned one. I watched Haskell Hunter use one at one of the woodcutting events @NotJust22s place. Not sure where to start. Would rather something self contained without use of your phone. Maybe even thermal.

Just be careful if you plan on using for scouting. Illegal to do that in NJ (and not just on public land).

You won’t get better than a DJI. If your gunna buy one I would do it now, they are Chinese. I can’t guarantee that China won’t be hacking whatever info you have.

Maybe someone can get their drone with a camera close to one of the drones in Hunterdon or Warren county and get video that shows any identification markings on them.

Monmouth county has high end drones . They tried and couldn’t come close to getting near them

My friends son tried putting his drone up to get close to the ones flying around. As soon as it went up in air and started getting close he lost all control of his and watch it fall into raritan bay.

Ive got a dji mavik pro.

It was fun to play with till the novelty wore off.

It would power up but not lift off whenever Trump was at Bedminister.

DJI has tools that totally disable their branded drones in certain areas. It’s designed for stadium and large gathering security.

Would love a thermal drone for the cool factor. Can’t justify it though. At least with a thermal scope or helmet mounted thermal vision you can hunt at night.
