Taking a short break.  Don't want to get double lung pneumonia like I did a few years ago from sitting out in high winds for days.  Have enough meat, so just looking to enjoy the hunting until the end.  Today would not be enjoyable.  Maybe if it snows Sat morning, or Monday when it warms up.  Do want to go out to check the camera today or tomorrow,though.

Been scouting all over for weeks , can’t find anything I even want to sit for .

lots of good 3 1/2 year olds , but nothing mature .

Even my Ohio cams are showing lots of dinks

The earliest I'll be out is Friday afternoon if the winds die down enough. It's nice to have meat in the freezer.

last night 6 doe came out to  cold to gut one of them out

Im out and settled in.  A little warmer out than yesterday but a but windier.  Hopefully a good buck takes a walk before dark!

Out in the blind. First time since before 6 day and after almost a month in 95 degree Brazil. Tomorrow will be in a tree stand. It's warming up a lot

I decided to check cameras today.   Too windy for me to sit in a stand with branches falling.  Hopefully you connected if you went out.

Nothing to special, i take the cold very well.  My outer layerings have a windstopper membrane (older cabelas fleece camo) which is the key to staying warm
