hammer4reel Posted Wednesday at 09:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:36 PM HOSS boots ,Anyone ever tried them ? insulated boots for 4E WIDE are tough to come by above 400 grams of thinsulate . found these on the XL FEET site . 1000 grams was available from HOSS boots . got them today , seem to be pretty well made , and actually are way lighter than lots of my other boots . Never heard of them before , will see how they work Timbuk2, Bonefreak and electric10162 1 2

But the tongue on the boots says made in China . They appear to be well built , have a waterproof liner , and 1000 grams of thinsulate , ‘so should be fine for colder weather saddle hunting 9 minutes ago, electric10162 said: I've been in Redwings for the last 30 years but notice the quality is not the same. Mucks arctic pro and muck Arctic ice . while they are only D width the side walls are soft enough to spread out . can only wear one sock in them . and only get a season or two out of them because the soles become undone . finding sneakers is as bad , but a few makers sell them in 4E on the XL feet site
