Congratulations! I am hunting this afternoon with inline muzzleloader. Hopefully plan comes together. I typically only shoot 8s or bigger until gun seasons are over, then does for Winter bow season.  Got a few nice ones at my spot and wind is right. Next week flintlock. If no buck by then, be the first time in many years I didn't shoot an 8. Saw many deer this year and had fun.

Good luck.  Still have my buck tag so now I'll only be after a rack still holding.  Maybe I can find the 9pt.  Don't need anymore meat, so it will be just for fun.  Not going out in this weather again unless I get bored.  15 degrees when I got out at 8:15.  Wind was howling at a steady 20mph + gusting.  Felt like 15 below.  I'll stay out of that blind in hopes my grandson can get the 6pt I passed on.  He hasn't gotten a buck yet with the bow and the 6 has come in during daylight.
