I found a loaded inline  muzzleloader while pheasant hunting many yrs ago in Winslow wildlife management area. Me and my dad turned it into the ranger station there. How does someone lose a gun? I don’t think any season was open to use a muzzy at that time.

Probably hid it because the heat was on and then couldnt find it

Some hunt w muzzleloaders for birds. Not usually animals inline, but possible
