Morning hunt today and scouting afterwards.  Good luck to anybody else out today.  Wish there was more than just a dusting of snow yesterday so I could do some tracking. And hoping that wind has died down.

Quiet morning except for the wind. Would shoot the shed buck if he comes back. Giving it until 10.

Only saw 1 deer, not hunting any more mornings in Jan/Feb, they are going to bed too early!

Same here.  They leave an hour before light.  Only I'll still try, especially if it gets really cold and/or deep snow.  Showing up right after dark but a little earlier sometimes, so never know. They were there all different times during the day when it was below zero.

Was walking over a rock and heard a baby crying

Doesn't have to be rocks.  Was in a blowdown and had a feeling bears were denning there the way the ground was packed down.  Sure enough, sow with a couple cubs behind her came right into the blowdown.
