Any experience with NY Thruway camera ticket?

I got mailed a speeding warning in a construction site while on my way to Cabela’s in Pa on Rt. 78 about a year ago, 69 in a 45 MPH.  Figured I got a warning because they couldn’t enforce it.

Green belt in Washington is the worst I only use it once a year and three years in a row got a camera speeding ticket in mail. First time maybe I was but last two no way was I speeding I made sure of it but still got ticket in mail from now on I will go around and avoid the belt even if it takes another half hour

I received the same notice in October. Coming home from Missouri. Next time is a ticket.

Wait, What. You guys got caught breaking the law by Speeding Thru a Construction Zone. The offense has been captured on camera with radar and now you are pissed off. I worked highway construction all my life. It is dangerous work with cars speeding past just a few feet from you. SLOW DOWN !! take the extra minute or two to save the life of someone who might be a fellow Hunter or Fisherman. Enough Said

I don’t think anyone is pissed off that got caught speeding in a construction zone. The OP was pissed off because he got a ticket but his buddy was driving, not him. In my case, PA sent me a warning with the picture clearly of my truck and I haven’t sped through one since. And the time I did there was nobody working at the time. I slow down when I see workers.

Yes!  I was surprised, I thought New Jersey didn’t give out info on camera tickets.  They had a pic of my truck with the license plate.  No one was working, tractor trailers passed me in the left lane.

Use the Waze app. Tells you where all the speed cameras are.  That app is definitely on the money when it says a speed camera is up ahead.
