500 yd custom muzzleloader (s)

A few questioned if this was possible...it is mostly dependent on the shooter. Many guns are capable. There are many boutique gun companies out there. Here are a few:

It’s likely a combination of both, however, you can’t have one without the other, otherwise you’ll never realize the potential of the firearm.
That being said, two of my cousins bought Fierce muzzys a few  years ago. 
Gorgeous guns, fit and finish was incredible, but it was like a science project to load the damn things! 
They shot well, but like most guys, we only shot them out to 200,  so they paid close to $5K (with all the bells and whistles) had no idea how they actually shot at long range, and it took a ridicules amount of time to load them. 
And for what, to maybe take a long range shot once every few years, maybe? 

Id say take the muzzy you’re comfortable with that has a solid reputation, and actually shoot it at distance, and you’ll then know how far you, and the firearm, can realistically shoot without question.

Sure with smokeless powder anything is achievable because you’re simply eliminating the case per se’. May be loaded by muzzle but are far cry from what muzzleloader actually is

I have a Savage ML2 that I'm thinking of converting to  smokeless and take it out to Montana for Mule deer.

Add this to the list. But it's affordable. 

The .40cal version is bad ass. Not NJ legal but a heck of a shooter. 

You can take an omega action and put a barrel on it and have a great affordable versatile muzzy.

McWorter I have shot, used, and my friends have them.

Unbelievable with smokeless. Highly accurate and deadly. Like shooting a rifle.

Only PIA are the bullets and buying from manufacturers, and the primer set up. But worth it.
