F/S Marlin 336 .35 Remington

Selling my Marlin 336 .35 Remington w/ Bushnell 4x32 scope

Originally purchased in 1969 or 1970 by my Uncle. Has normal wear for a gun this old. Action is smooth and fluid. No pitting or rust on metal parts.

Nice rifle!  Does it have the JM stamped barrel?  That year class should be JM stamped if I remember correctly.

Look for “JM” engraved where barrel meets receiver

It Will 100 percent be JM stamped from that yr. Unless it's not original, they stopped the JM stamping when Remington took the company over in the mid 2000's

Classic deer rifle!  I have 2. My dad gave me one and I bought a second for my son. But I only use it once a year in WV.  There is something special when you hear it crack off loudly in those WV hills and hollers!  Sometimes the shots I hear in the distance I think I can pick out the ones that are 35 REMs cuz they are so loud!!  Lol. I let 3 rip at this buck a few weeks ago as he chased a doe and finally got him w the third shot!  First shot was 100 yards then they came closer at 35 yards!  Insane!!

Looks like yours the iron sights can still be used if the scope fogs up or has issues…or u jump one in thick brush and can’t get it in the scope….which is a great option.

I jumped on a bunch of ammo when it was scarce a few years ago…but it was awesome to see it back on the shelves in the Atlantic City Bass Pro a few weeks ago at $55/box!!

I figured if it was at Bass Pro the stockpiling days are over….is it still a problem finding?  I will keep a lookout.
