Fawn?

This fawn up at the Brownsville Maine Deer Pantry still shows a few spots. Was this a late born fawn? I have never seen a spotted fawn during any gun season. This picture is from today December 28th.

I've seen some spots on a fawn in September, but you really had to look for them

That is why we hunt Maine. The genetics are really good on some deer up there.

I saw one with full spots in December 10 years ago

I have a buck that still has some spots on him last year as a button buck he had a handful of spots still on him and this year he came back around and he still had a few spots there very faded but still there

Just look at the length of its nose.
