Bass pro - savage stainless 220??

I didn't call bass pro yet, but anyone can shed some light on why all of the are out of stock for the savage 220.

Could be various reasons

They sold out

Savage is slow to make and/or ship out

Other stores have orders 

Do they have other model 220s in stock ?

They have a CVA CASCADE XTs but not the caliber I want, I can special order it if I like when ready

Ty for responding.  Was getting a little nervous thinking they might not carry them anymore .

 

I have email in to general manager at 2 different stores.

Some places sell cheaper...unless looking to use gift cards.

I was given so many gift cards all for basspro.   I'm thankful ofcourse,  but I wish it was for other places or just cash, lol.   I do see other places have in stock, and better price.

You can call the 800# and they can special order it for you. I did this like 15 years ago on Remington 11-87 SPS DEER 20gs, required 20% down i used my gift cards for down payment then used more gift cards to pay it off. 

If you do this just tell them which bass pro/cabelas you want it sent to

Check with your hunting buddies see if any interested in buying your gift cards, I bought over $400 from a buddy of mine and used for Tikka 350 legend, I was going to spend money anyhow so was good for him

Sometimes Buying on GunBroker and shipping it to your FFL is the only way to get what you want

The best prices on guns for me have ALWAYS been online, unfortunately. Rather support local, but when I can save $200-300 gonna go with online.

Savage website doesn't show a stainless barrel  model

Local gun shops sometimes don’t help themselves. Saw a savage 220 camo stainless in my local shop for 2 years tried to work with them on the price and they would not budge.
