12/19 check in

I guess Beard is on the couch last 2 days so starting this one for who ever is out.  Yesterday was first day I didn sea single deer.  I'm now posted in a z16 swamp with estrus scent out hoping there's still a mature buck interested in some last piece of tail.  6 flats so far.

Went out this morning as deer were making way across field neighbor dog saw them and chased them right where they came from bastard.

No woods this evening kid turned 16 today.

Can't get out till Sunday morning

Did a scouting mission in a new area. It's on the maybe list for 2025. Too many other stands, trailcams, and a fallen blind.

Couldn't get out today.  Waiting for temp to drop to 4 degrees.   They aren't moving until after dark in this heat.  Maybe try again tomorrow night.  Not sure about going Saturday with the orange army and me in camo.  Not seeing deer and bucks are scarce, anyway.  Haven't laid my eyes on anything bigger than a 4pt all season, and only a few doe.

Saw 14 flats yesterday.  No antlers.  Some were almost certainly repeat sightings
