Fallow Deer in NJ?

I meant to ask about this... who got this email from DFW and scratched there head?

I never heard of fallow deer in NJ, and those zones 23 and 24 are in Wharton State Forest. Never heard of fallow deer in Wharton. Where'd they come from?

Kinda like the feral pig hunting they had a few years ago down here in one of our southern zones - pigs must've got loose from a farm. Wonder if these fallow deer are from some farm of some sort?

Yup. I’m a a square circle member. They sent us an email about it. I hunt zone 23 and haven’t seen any.

Some late season whitetail fawns still with spots  in early Fall will be mistaken as  fallow deer and shot.😳☹️

I am waiting for the Kangaroo's to find their way here, I always wanted to do a skull mount on a kangaroo.
