My daughter had her archery team practice/Christmas party tonight.  She's a good shot, but we can't find a trigger release that works for her.  She's 15 and has small wrists, so the wrist strap never stays tight and as she shoots, she has to start really reaching for the trigger causing her to slap her shot.

One of her coaches let her try a thumb/hinge release and my daughter got dialed in with it pretty fast.  It definitely took a little getting used to, but her confidence is already boosted as she can concentrate on her sights now and not worry about a release strap.

Did you have to adjust her draw length? I figure there would be about a 1 inch difference messing up her anchor points.

We didn't do anything with her draw length.  She just shot about 20 arrows with it.  We're definitely gonna put more work into it.  Thanks for the tip!   We will look into her draw length with it

As I said in your other post, she is a natural. I tried going to a thumb release and I could never get comfortable with my anchors. If she’s shooting good groups I wouldn’t mess with anything on her setup. Just let her keep having fun! I’m glad you found a fix for her.
