Yup! BTW when I started my pay was $17K, and I was glad to have the job. The only that kept me going in college was the goal of being a Conservation Officer. I also had to go through the NJ State Police Academy, at age 32 and it was worth the hassle.

Sea Grit...great memories living there 5 days per week for months

The last game warden I called was for a women clearly harassing me for hunting township property. Had pictures of her and her father climbing my tree stand, video of her screaming I hope you die, pictures of her dumping laundry detergent pellets where I was hunting, dumped all there leaves and branches at my tree stand, and a list of times she called the police for me hunting illegal. Her father was friends with the mayor so the police were "unable" to help me, so I called the wardens in. The first thing I was asked was to prove I was hunting on township property, and an investigation was started on me. Once it was known that I was doing everything above and beyond the law, I was told she has every right to not want me there and I might want to move spots to stop getting into conflicts with her. I hunted this spot for 7 years had lots of success and no one else wanted to hunt the thick swamp I was in. So I moved to the otherside of the woods also killed my biggest buck yet in new spot, but what happened to standing up for the law? I hope some of the new wardens up hold the law wether its for or against the hunter.
