Mikedxt Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Checking to see if anything is out there before buying new. Looking for a 12ga 3½" semi auto shotgun. Not interested in any Stoegers. Located in ocean county but willing to take a ride if need be.

Eyesofthewoods Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 I have the franchi affinity 3.5. It wasn’t the cheapest gun but also not super expensive $1200-1400 depending. It does the job for most things I need it for. Just a recomendation. Mikedxt 1

I'm most likely likely going to get the browning silver field or the A5. I have a Belgium a5 and love it. Figured I'd ask here first. Eyesofthewoods 1
MikeStaten Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 If you reconsider your options, Sportsman’s Warehouse has pretty good deals on the Franchi Affinity. Here’s one for $850, $750 for the all black model. I compared the affinity to my benelli m2 and there is not a lot of difference between the two. https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/shotguns/franchi-affinity-35-12-gauge-3-12in-realtree-max-7-semi-automatic-shotgun-28in/p/1877498 roy381 1
Mikedxt Posted December 13, 2024 Author Posted December 13, 2024 Thanks all. I ended up buying a new browning silver field at a local dealer. nmc02 1

Yeah Harry’s was great. I spent a lot of time in there back in the good old days. Nice old style sporting goods store. I lived only a few miles from there. Bought my first shotgun there in 1968 and first hand gun in 1972. Mikedxt and roy381 2
