mike033089 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Will be slowly walking around Saturday with the slug gun looking for a small bear. I got a tag for 4 and 1. I’m pretty familiar with white lake wma and then Columbia. More so white lake. Anyone hunt both and have any insight on to which one I’m more likely to see a bear? I know the temps will not help at all but can’t hurt to try. I have no faith in I’ll see a buck but never know.
Shakyjake Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 You’d be better served hunting Allamuchy Mountain SP. The WMA’s you are speaking of get ALOT of driving pressure this week. mike033089 1
Codaboy Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I killed my first turkey at white lake mike033089 1

I was at both of them most days last year of 6 day and hardly saw anyone. It was odd, but then again I didn’t see a single deer track at either one in the snow. lol

I was scouting some new spots in white lake and was a bear sleeping on the edge of the wooded area and a huge opening. Thing stunk to high heaven! mike033089 1 Not trusting the government doesn't make you a conspiracy theorist, it makes you a history buff
