Nanuk Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 (edited) So after some reservations I committed to preparing a Squirrel Fricassee dish . I dredged the parts in seasoned flour and fried until golden , removed from fry pan and made a roux, added onions and carrots let them go until soft. Place parts back into pan and covered with beef stock (or chicken) seasoned and place in oven covered with foil for 45mins . I removed and found it to be lil tuff . So I placed everything into slow cooker and finished in there for 3 hours … I started this yesterday and it was too late to eat so after a sat in the frig overnight I made a side of mashed potatoes .
