ratherbhunting Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 I saw a mink while I was muzzle loader hunting last week and then again this morning when I was out with the shotgun. I am considering setting some traps ( I do have my snare card and trapping license), I just don't know anything about trapping for mink and I could use any advice that someone is willing to give me. Are snares the best way, or should I try a cage trap or body gripping trap set below the water? Also where can I pick up some snares for mink, I am in Whitehouse Station and I am sure I will have to take a little drive, but I am willing to go for a ride if I have to. Thank you in advance for any advice Thank you ratherbhunting (Chris)

gaberdeen Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 I would order from snare one. They are NJ based and can give you exactly what you need. Set some snares along cut banks in rivers.
Mixbaghunter Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Lot of good videos on utube. Set a lot of bank run sets and set sign good luck
