Heading out for a walk in the snow.  That's about it.  Good luck to anyone else going out today.  Don't see the winds they were calling for, yet.  Little breeze.

You are hardcore Bob. Good luck. Should be a pretty sunrise.

No sunrise today. Suppose to start snowing again. Saw 3 doe. Unfortunately they took off out of where I was going to sit.  Circled around hoping to see them again. No other tracks for 3/4mile.

Additional snow never came. Walked the hill and came across a couple beds from last night. They had moved already into the bullrush.  At least I know there are 5 deer around there.   Have to deside if I should hunt 20241205_075703.thumb.jpg.0145e74d2046889096d1b130017c90c5.jpg20241205_084234.thumb.jpg.59b3a84f0e2611d10b5066967ebd7a20.jpgAndy's or Jack's place tonight

Well, it happened.  Doe came out of the thick stuff at sunset on the trail with all the rubs.  She stayed along the edge peering back where she came from with ears pointed forward.  Knew there had to be something behind her so I held off shooting her. First time I seen a deer come out of there so wanted to see what else she might bring to the table.   She stayed close, grazing and browsing, and intently looking back into the brush until dark.  With her still close, I tried sneaking out but she spooked and ran off a little ways then snorted.  Something back in the bushes also snorted.  The end.  Was good to see a deer and have had a shot if I wanted to.
