Will we reach 500 bears next week?

We need 103 bears next week to reach 500 for the year.  Will we do it?

Not holding my breath on Bugs adding one to that number, October looked great and turned out to be crap.

December is just looking to be crap.

Hope they don’t halt the hunt before the Saturday of 6 day. I’ll be out first time for bear.  Ideally I’d like a deer but if a bear comes By I’ll take the shot.  No game plan whatsoever. Will be out with my 2 cousins on state land  who just got their license and probably walk in and spread out and sit on the ground or lean against a tree. Later that morning my uncle will head over from his gun club down the road and we’ll split up and put some slow walks on and see if we kick anything up to one another.

I put 3 cameras out near me ....all three had several bears. Hopefully some kills this week. Simply too many.

The plan is go out Friday the 13th and Saturday with my middle one, Violet. Originally she wanted to hunt Pa rifle but now she wants to try for a Jersey bear instead. So we will give it hell.

Had 2 on camera last week and one this week . Never know with warmer temperatures next week but rain . Unfortunately mine where sow with cubs.

Bear movement by me slowed down unfortunately. Had one sow with a single cub on cam during the night last week and 3 weeks before that nothing.
