Wal-Mart flat out lied

Go to get muzzleloader permit at the Wal-Mart 5 min from my house.  Sign says state website is down.  I log in on my phone it's working fine.  So I find someone she says it's down I told her I can log in on my phone no problem she tells me than get it from your phone.  I said I have cash for them and prefer getting it here tells me I'm beat she don't have time.

State was down all day yesterday. Guess that means you don’t need a permit

I gave up on license agents years ago.I buy  and print online now.It’s time the State of Screw Jersey goes with digital licenses.

I'm not paying the fees associated with it online. And I don't have a printer

I won't go to walmart anymore, or pay more for doing it myself online.  Walmart says it's down when they don't have the staff available that knows how to do it, or you have to walk around the store looking for someone to ask.  Giving gun shops that sell them the business, not that they make much from the stingy state

Plenty of good Walmarts that actually are happy yo sell you the license .

sadly there are also many that suck .

just ask to see a manager.

Haven't used a license agent in years. So much more convenient to print at home. Some good deals on printers this week..

Internet portal and store portal is different. I was told this by a local shop that sells license. He even told me that his connection is down but you can go on the internet to buy from phone/computer. 
 

I am fortunate to have Pequest hatchery 4 miles from the house. Never had issue there. And the guy at the front door is always super helpful.
