PA deer camp back home 3c

Back home with my old man and the usuals north of Honesdale for PA deer opener.  Got about an inch of snow this afternoon with a squal that came through.  Good luck to all hunters!! Buck is a picture of my buck from 2009 at this camp.

I called the land owner a couple of weeks ago to a private spot I was able to hunt the past few years..he said his wife has asked if I wouldn't hunt.....all of a sudden they like seeing the deer.   UGH !!

Today was my only chance to check out a spot I hunted on the back side of state land..... only to get up there to see new signs that said any cars will be towed entering the state land from this area.....

All near Lake Wallenpaupack......My own fault for waiting until the day before,  but tried checking out the state land and didn't see a deer  track in the snow walking for almost an hour.... At least I didn't buy the license....LOL

 

I will just stick to NJ !!!! Good luck to everyone heading out this week !!

I have a few in my backyard. Those things are vicious, always chasing squirrels up the trees.
