They really aren't  and normal price is right around what a glock cost wich I personally hate glock

I would have to disagree on this one. I worked at a range that rented guns and I’ve shot dozens and dozens of brands and models. The Caniks shot great, had really nice triggers, NEVER JAMMED OR FAILED TO FIRE…when in comparison , Glock triggers are junk, Sigs broke down every day, S&W’s were all over the place on accuracy, some great-some terrible. 

I would shoot one next to my Walther PDP and Q5 match any day.

Not saying it's a bad thing but when guys get to live a specific brand all else are junk in their eyes.  I happen to hate glock, they just feel like play blocks in my hand. But I own several different brands and styles.  For instance I love my 10mm 1911 and 45. But I tried a 1911 platform in 9mm and hated it in 9mm I prefer my xdm.  But that dosnt mean 1911s are junk..
