How did you make out ??

Went out with Kris Applegate. Left work around 11:30. Tracked the deer over a mile. His dog Edgar is awesome at tracking nothing but good things to say about him and his dog. We tracked him over a mile before we called it.

Plenty of blood, but no deer. Not making excuses it was my fault. First time using a single slider pin this year. Pin was on 20 he was around 30ish. Rushed the shot hit him low.

It's a bummer, but I'm not giving up

Bit of advice.   Find your mark where you are within margin of error at 20 and 30.  I set my pin at 24yrds and don't have to worry about it from 15 to 30.

I work with Kris.

He and Edgar are great dog knows where to look that Kris can't see.

Honestly if they didn't find you won't

Not a complete a$$ hole just one of the dingle berries that hang off it.

Agree with ya on that, I've known him and Edgar for a long time, I remember when he was first training that dog.  Dog is an amazing tracker and Kris knows his stuff.

Man. Crazy thing is I had my pin on 25 yards. I switched to 20 yards 10 minutes before the deer came in because I thought all my shots would be 20 and in.      I shoot 70lbs 29 3/4 draw my arrows don't start dropping until 26 27 yards. I've been aiming lower because of watching too many youtube videos.  No excuses though my fault. Just a bummer

Kris and Edgar helped to find my son’s deer he shot Saturday night. Deer made a u-turn and headed in a direction we would’ve never guessed. Edgar took us right to the deer in no time and covered over 1000 yards. Was absolutely amazing to watch him work. It happens to us all…if Edgar couldn’t get him for you…he’s likely still on the hoof. Good luck.

Sometimes I think the world has gone completely mad. And then I think, "Aw, who cares?" And then I think, "Hey, what's for supper?"
