Z51 info (Allaire/Manasquan WMA)

Hey guys, just looking for some insight on Allaire SP and/or Manasquan WMA. They're very close by, so I'd like to put some time in there. Did some searching online and most of the posts are very old. Im not looking for anyone's spot, and from what I gathered so far they get hit pretty hard. I would mostly be hunting weekdays so I'm hoping it won't be as packed when I go. Just want to know how the hunting is overall in this area and what the deer numbers are like.

I’ve hunted the Manasquan WMA since 2010.  It’s hit or miss most years.  Small piece split up by the river.  I’ve been hunting the Brick side the last few years, across from the reservoir and hunt mobile.  Lots of hikers, lots of mountain bikers and now with bird season you’ll see upland hunters as well.  I’ve never been able to pattern a single deer there, which I think is largely because of the pressures there in relation to its small size.  Fewer and fewer tree stands every year IMO though.  Haven’t seen any clubs push it hard during 6 days in a long time too.  I like it, it’s 4 minutes from my house so it’s convenient for me.  If you haven’t been there before and want more info, PM me and I can give you much more insight.

Look into allaire state park also. Close by you
