Illinois shotgun hunt day 3 Last Day

Day 1

We left for Illinois Wednesday for the 1st 3day shotgun season 

that started today (Friday) .

Got in early this morning. About 730 am I spot 2 does cut across a high grass field I'm watching, 1st one walks across then follows the other. 

She stops momentarily to look back and continues on. 

Several minutes go by nothing following so I hang the 220 back on the hook. 

A minute or so later I catch a glimpse of antlers cruising the thick saplings where the does come from. He stepped into an opening and I shot. 

Ran about 50 yards and crashed 

Still have 2 W and W members hunting with 2 days to go. 

Every one seen a shooter or 2 today .
