Got 2 & missed 2 this AM off Brick beach. 
 

Whales jumping, birds diving, fish breaking!!!  Thousands of fishermen and hundreds of boats.

Big swim bait on a rickety ass setup of a fluke pole and old Penn reel w no drag!!  Lol

It was insane like the opening day of trout season!!
 

Glad the state finally stocked em on a Sunday!!!  Lol

Haha!!  I’m retired and on a fixed income now!!  Can’t afford a new reel!!  
 

Btw…that thing was given to me by a dear friend and it belonged to her late father who loved to fish…his spirit was probably the reason I actually caught stripers and not skates today!!!  Lol

Those old BG reels are like a coffee grinder but as long as kept clean will work forever

No luck this AM. Coffee grinder Penn couldn’t get em. Saw a few caught. Lots of bait, whales, seals, birds working, guys everywhere etc
