28" for me

as a kid everyone used 30" barrels

there was a trend a while back for shorter barrel, i think I remember 24" the shortest

 you say

now that I think about it, Remington had an 1100 "special field" with a 21" barrel

I use a Browning BPS "upland special" with a 22" barrel.

I prefer shorter shotgun barrels. The only double I've owned was a 24" Browning Citori.

With my dogs, 26 or 28.

all except my SxS, which I never use.

What? You have an Elmer Fudd special?!? How come I've never seen that! You need to bring that out... I love SxS!! When I have more disposable income, that's on my list!

It’s an old Stevens 311. I have 2. One from early 80s and one from late 50s/60s. I bought the 80s one from a discount store called BEST near the Morristown  Mall for less than 100 bucks. The other was given to me.
