Wildfires around public hunting land

The wildfires in North Jersey are near the public land I have been hunting this season . How will the fire affect the deer woods this season? Should I forget about hunting these spots within a certain proximity to the fires? I think long term it will be beneficial.

Deer outside the fire will act normal.  But for saftey reasons I wouldn't be within at least a mile.  Especially down wind side of fire.  The rain we got  did nothing

it will certainly get deer moving if your willing it would be good to hunt areas near it as many deer are going to be moving away but it’s definitely dangerous to be hunting close it it

Spot fires can happen up to 3 miles and beyond..

Great for future with all the new growth .  Right now I would stay clear.
