11/7 Check-in

The coveted "November 7th" and another sucky forecast. NW winds at least. Some like this date as much as 10/31, we'll see...

Shuffling the deck and hitting the woods again with the bow.  haven't sat this spot in the morning yet and don't have much hope in seeing anything there but it is over a scrape where I've seen the biggest buck so far.  Hoping he may be cruising checking scrapes.  Before leaving the woods yesterday morning, I bagged some dirt from the fresh scrape where I was, and put it in this other one.

I'm heading over to flatbrook with the kids to see if they can get some shots on any pheasants. I know it's the rut but hate deer hunting in these warm temps, just going to wait for muzzy at this point and hope it cools down

Saw 3 at first light moving, one of which was a small 8 pt following a doe.
