Got into the Monmouth County Park spot early, set some scent about 75yds out . Pretty good wind dirction today. 7am 3 does up on the hill behind me come down into the creeks and cross 30 yds out with a 4 ptr..About an hour later a doe is in the cattails being followed / pushed by a buck they play around for 2o minutes and she comes out 28yds and turn the other way ...I Thinking if he follows I got him ...he does , but no shot. I give him a grunt he stops turns to the left and I tag him ....watched him go 25 yds and drops ! Not the big one I was hoping for but I enjoy this spot every year ! He has a big body ,cant wait to see the weight of him !
