Successful Youth Pheasant Hunt!

What an awesome day today was.  Let me first start by saying what a tremendous job NJ Fish and Wildlife does for the kids.

Kaylee and I got to Assunpink and met with our guide, Kurt and his son.  Kaylee was paired with 2 boys and we headed out to our assigned field.   Was such a cool experience watching the dogs work.  The 2 boys got their Pheasants and as we were nearing the end of the hunt, my Kaylee scored on a beautiful Rooster Pheasant, making a great shot.   She keeps amazing me every time we take the field.   She even learned how to field dress her Pheasant.  It was an awesome day with some great people.  Kaylee's already looking forward to next years hunt.
