Picky striper fishing

My buddy and I headed down yesterday afternoon, found some bunker while heading south, hooked a big one there that came unbuckled.  We continued south until we found the birds and fish busting where ever you looked, we figured it was game on. The fish proved otherwise because they were keyed in on sand eels, we worked at it and ended the day with 12 fish on diamond jigs and dropped a few as well
