How was the turkey action this week?

I have been away all of B week as I was picking up my daughter from college down south. How has the turkey action be around here ? Hope you guys and gals have been out chasing those thunder chickens. I will be back out this week and can't wait

Overall, seems like it was a crappy week for most people.  Weather was less than perfect and the birds talked off the roost but were tight lipped on the ground.

Like Buckman said, birds were vocal off the roost for my B week permit.
 
As soon as they pitched down, it was very quiet with little activity.

I heard birds 3 mornings this week, but wasn't able to get any of the boys within sight.

B week was tough. The rain and cold made the birds quite as hell near me. Had birds roosted and they didn't even gooble on the roost. saw birds strutting in fields in th after noon though. That's always nice, to see birds when your done hunting. Hopefully next week is better. This weekend should be enough to get them talking again. Right?
