We don’t have the smart meter yet. I have solar that I took over from previous owners.  It was a lease so I pay about $90 a month for solar. Usually just have a bill of a few bucks for “processing fees etc) in summer, winters avg 70 from Jcpl.  But then add in the 90 for solar.  Not worth it In winter, I’ve done the math the solar only does about $50 with of kWh.

No solar but seems like once a month they are knocking on the door …. Last one I said I would make a deal you replace my roof for free and I’ll think about solar he wouldn’t take the bait lol !
To date hasn’t been awful but we will see next cycle ! Good Luck !

I baught solar. Pay 114 for them.  Highest electric bill has been 8 dollars.  Plus I get the s recs and the 6000 dollar rebate

Yeah previous owners went with lease. No tax breaks for us.  So in about 7 years I can buy if I want the panels. I’m not buying 20 year old technology.

My buddy works for Jcpl as a suit and tie. It’s well known amongst them that the grid can’t support all electric.

Well it’s time they start collecting fairly across the board from a certain establishment that is dumping a huge strain on the power grid no more BS breaks and excuses …. Just Sayin’ ! :nonono: That’s the answer you will get everytime !
