FALL GOBBLERS/WHERE ARE THEY?

Recommended Posts

Those Fall Gobblers are Tough to Locate on Crowded Public Ground. A number of Old Time Turkey Book Authors offered this information- Go to the High Ground First.

Myself,I definitely  move through the Conifers and check out the PIGNUT HICKORY GROVES.  That Hickory has a Diamond pattern in the Bark and grows mostly on Hillsides . Nutmeats are Sweet. Small Shells open easily. A Fav Fall and Winter Food of Wild Turkeys. Someone Throw me a Dime for this info. Luck out there. blackbeltbill bowing off the dojo floor.

Best fall turkey spot I've found is always the neibors corn pile, they come into it like clock work.

Well- Good Luck this Fall! I took 1 nice Jake in NJ last Fall.  Those Fall Gobblers are harder to find though.
