Been practicing my calling

It's quite a bit harder to get the right cadence. I am hoping to at least see some turkey and not just scare them away!  :praying:

Real turkeys often sound worse than hunters imitating turkey sounds, so don't stress on being perfect.  So just practice in your car, in your garage, or anywhere you can get away with it.  But don't practice on real birds because that just educates them to becoming call shy over a relatively short time.  Remember, unless you're hunting 100% private ground, there are excellent chances that many other hunters are out scouting and calling your birds during the pre season.  Best to locate birds on the roost or just spot them with binoculars during scouting instead of calling them and educating them.

Good luck this spring!
