Mixbaghunter Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 I watched this last night found interesting from the hunting public it is 30 min
Swamprat Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 I'll watch later tonight but when I watched some of their hunting videos this past winter I did notice they used fixed blade heads and had penetration that they would not have had with a mechanical. I liked their videos. I would not have been a fan of them walking all over a spot I set up in but it is public. Lol Mixbaghunter 1
hammer4reel Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Two things come instantly to mind watching that video . (1) their shot selection could be better , and where they stated their arrows hit wasn’t even close many times . (2) they are still aiming at the near side , and because of that stated that’s why the arrow direction wasn’t correct on many moving deer . you should always be aiming for the EXIT like shooting through a tube . It AUTOMATICALLY takes any movement from forward to to quartering away instantly into account . hunterbob1 and Mixbaghunter 2
hunterbob1 Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Shot many broadheads in my 40 plus years. Green bears, super Hilbre, wasp, supreme, thunderhead, that's just a few I can remember. Obviously all mechanical. I'm not going to brag about the numbers of how many deer I killed. Most old shots were in The boiler room, most dropped in the spot or didn't make it 75 yards. Guess I got lucky. Although I'd love them all I went mechanical Only one I use today 4 fot 4 last harvests same head cleaned and replaced blades https://images.app.goo.gl/acArnrrUJWw9JzUG7 “In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen.” -Theodore Roosevelt
