Absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my favorite birds. I sit on my deck drinking my coffee at my campground every morning watching them. Cool little birds.

My sister had a nest in her yard and Lenard Lee Rue would park his suburban next to the tree and sit on top to photograph and film the birds and eggs till they hatched.

He was there, dark to dark for about a week.

Great shots Frank  Here is my attempt 1000 shutter speed . I will try going slower shutter and bring down ISO

You need to speed up your shutter  and one way to do it is to raise your ISO. Slowing the shutter will result in very blurry picture.
