I went up to club this past week for our annual work weekend and spring trip. I got up late in the day Tuesday to uncomfortable humid temps in the mid 80s. The weather finally broke by Thursday and it stayed nice and cool with on and off rain until Sunday which is fine by me. We busted hump Thursday and Friday maxing out the wood shed and cleaning up and making repairs.  With the weather cooling and rain coming through things felt fishy so I knew I had to get out on Saturday. I hit two ponds and managed to land two 19 inch wild brookies and many other quality fish to 17 inches. The fly rod was high hook and two fish landed on spinning gear trolling a hot shot. I am not sure if I will ever top these fish size fish in the Adirondacks in the near future! One fish unfortunately took the fly deep and I had to keep him. Stomach was filled with two huge baitfish and crawfish. The pics do not do these fish justice. It was a great week!

Awesome pics. Just got back myself from a trip back home to a spot ive fished since I was a kid growin up in the northcountry with my Grandfather and Uncle. Got 4 Brookies , overall, so numbers down a bit but a great day nevertheless.  You just cant beat a day enjoying the scenic vistas offered by the Adirondacks can you!!
