Acorn Mast Crop 2024?

I'm hoping for acorns to drop in my neck of the woods, the last one was in 2021 in the area I hunt. A friend of mine hunts Newark Watershed and last year it was loaded,  another friend hunts 20 minutes south of me, and something like me 2021 last acorns and nothing since including last year

If you missed last year, you should have a good crop this year. My Sparta property was loaded with red oak acorns last year. We had a mild crop of whites the year before but zero reds. But reds produce every other year. Whites I have come to learn are a crap shoot.

red & White was unreal in 2021, but really nothing since.....I believe what you said this year in my area things should be good

We haven’t had any late frosts and pollination has been pretty good this year, so that bodes well for the whites this year and the reds next year.   But we’ll have to wait and see.
